Published articles necessarily make authors' names, affiliations and corresponding-author email addresses public, and that information is passed to Crossref and to indexing services as part of the article metadata. Reviewer identities are not disclosed to authors.
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no third-party analytics. If that changes we will say so here before the change takes effect.
Correspondence is kept while it is useful and then deleted. Records of submission, review and publication are kept indefinitely, because they form part of the permanent scholarly record.
You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to the address above and we will respond within one month. We cannot remove authorship details from a published article, as that would falsify the published record; errors in them are handled as a correction.
This site is served over HTTPS. We restrict access to submission and correspondence records to the editorial staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
