Become a reviewer

Peer review is unpaid, confidential work, and our journals depend on it.

Register your interest

We are glad to hear from researchers with a doctoral degree or equivalent research experience and a record of publication in their field. Please read our reviewer guidelines before applying.

What we ask

  • Two to three reviews a year, by agreement
  • A report within the agreed deadline, or early notice if you cannot
  • Declaration of any conflict of interest
  • Confidentiality — including not putting manuscripts into AI tools

What you can expect

Invitations only within your stated expertise, a clear deadline agreed in advance, sight of the decision and the other reviewers' comments, and written confirmation of your reviews on request.
