1Publisher identity

2Ownership and management

The Electronic Journal of Medical Research is owned and published by RES Research Solutions and Publishers (Private) Limited. The journal is not owned by, affiliated with, or sponsored by any society, institution, university or commercial third party, and no external body holds any financial or editorial interest in it.

The publisher is directed by Ms. Asia Bibi, Managing Director. Day-to-day publishing operations are managed by the publishing office, which may be contacted at support@respublishers.com.

RES Publishers is an independent publisher. It has no parent company, holding company or investor, and is not part of any publishing group.

3Editorial independence

Editorial decisions on individual manuscripts rest solely with the journal’s Editor-in-Chief and editorial board. The publisher plays no part in the assessment of manuscripts and does not influence, overrule, or review decisions to accept, revise, or reject.

Decisions are made on scholarly merit alone. They are not affected by the author’s nationality, institution or seniority, and no person involved in deciding on an article takes part in decisions about fees or waivers relating to it.

Where a member of the editorial team, or the publisher, is an author on a submission to the journal, that person is excluded entirely from the handling of the manuscript. An independent editor is appointed to manage peer review and to make the decision, and the arrangement is recorded in the published article.

4Author services

RES Publishers offers paid services to authors: English language editing, formatting to journal style, figure and table preparation, and Arabic–English translation. A numbered certificate is issued for each completed job.

These services are commercial and entirely separate from the editorial process. Purchasing them confers no advantage in peer review and carries no implication that a manuscript will be accepted. Editors are not informed which submissions have used them, and staff providing these services take no part in editorial decisions.

5Open access, copyright and licensing

All journals published by RES Publishers are fully open access. Articles are free to read from the day of publication, with no subscription, registration or embargo.

Authors retain copyright in their work. Articles published from October 2026 onwards are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. Articles published before that date carry the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) licence. The licence applying to each article is stated on the article page.

6Publication ethics

RES Publishers follows the guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in handling allegations of research and publication misconduct, and in issuing corrections, expressions of concern and retractions.

All submissions are screened for plagiarism before peer review. Manuscripts passing initial editorial assessment are sent to at least two independent reviewers under a double-anonymised model, and the handling editor takes the decision.

Concerns about a published article, about the conduct of peer review, or about the conduct of the publisher may be raised at support@respublishers.com.

7Digital preservation

Each article is assigned a Crossref DOI, and article metadata are deposited with Crossref.

The full content of the journal is preserved independently of the journal website, so that it remains accessible should the journal or the publisher cease to operate.
